Scott Andrew
Chief Executive Officer
After graduating from NC State University with a degree in economics and business management, Scott worked in corporate banking, where he handled mergers and acquisitions and commercial accounts. Over the last 25 years, Scott has founded and owned businesses across multiple industries and countries, including beverage wholesale, real estate development, rodeo productions, internet marketing, retail and B2B distribution, and home furnishings.
Scott has also served on several national boards, including the NC Beer & Wine Wholesalers Association and the Coors Brewing Company Mid-Atlantic Advisory Board. His experience in distribution led to the development of a broad-based internet business that operated in more than 30 states and several international markets.
Recognizing an opportunity for a different approach to distribution and retail in the U.S. home furnishings industry, Scott founded Retail Service Systems (RSS) in 2013. Since then, he has led the development and expansion of the organization through strategic acquisitions, team development, and new business initiatives.
Scott is also the author of The Rugged Entrepreneur and has contributed to Forbes Business Council, including an article titled ‘How to Find Success as an Entrepreneur’, where he shares insights from his experience building and leading businesses.
Jerry Williams
President
Jerry Williams brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the home furnishings industry, with a background spanning operations, manufacturing partnerships, finance, customer service, sales, and brand development.
As President of RSS, Jerry works directly with manufacturing partners on product, value, service, and supplier relationships. He also oversees the company’s financial division, customer service operations, and brand development teams while working alongside the CEO on strategic projects and programs.
Before joining RSS, Jerry held operations and sales roles in distribution-based businesses within the trucking and waste management industries. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Transportation and Logistics and resides in Columbus, Ohio, with his wife, Emily.
John Grof
Director of Operations and Quality Control
John Grof began his career after high school with Emro Marketing, where he started as an Assistant Manager and later advanced to District Manager. At age 24, he joined Blue Beacon International, spending 12 years developing his experience as a Training Manager.
John later became an entrepreneur, operating a family restaurant with his wife for a decade before entering the furniture industry. He went on to own and operate Maumee Furniture Direct for 11 years.
John joined BoxDrop’s Home Office in Dublin, Ohio, in April 2019. Today, he brings decades of operational, training, and business ownership experience to his role, supporting BoxDrop franchise owners and helping strengthen operations across the organization.
John resides in Sunbury, Ohio, with Kathy, his wife of 38 years. They have three children and five grandchildren.
Kelly Harris
Chief Merchandising Officer & Coach
Kelly Harris brings extensive experience in BoxDrop ownership, merchandising, customer service, and coaching. As Chief Merchandising Officer, she leads BoxDrop’s merchandising strategy while also serving as a coach to franchise owners.
In her coaching role, Kelly supports BoxDrop owners as they develop their merchandising strategies and strengthen their local operations. Her approach is shaped by more than two decades of customer-service experience and a strong belief in treating customers with care and respect.
Kelly began developing those values early in life and carried them into her professional career, where she built strong client relationships while working her way through college. Today, she combines her operating experience, merchandising knowledge, and customer-focused approach to support owners throughout the BoxDrop system.
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and providing her children with a rural upbringing.
George Varn
Director of Compliance
George Varn is a lifelong entrepreneur and U.S. Navy veteran with experience building and operating businesses in the internet, telecommunications, and home furnishings industries. A fourth-generation Floridian, George attended Tallahassee Community College, Florida State University, and Naval Nuclear Power School.
Alongside his wife, Sandi, George owned and operated a BoxDrop Mattress and Furniture franchise that is now owned and operated by their son, Matt. George became RSS’s first business advisor, earning the nickname “The Father” for his direct and practical coaching style.
Today, George serves as Director of Compliance while continuing to provide business coaching, manage training programs, support RSS dealers, and contribute to the Hiring Our Heroes Veterans Program. Over the years, he has coached and advised many RSS business owners and managers.
Outside of work, George is an open-water diver, private pilot, avid outdoorsman, husband, father of three grown sons, and grandfather.

Chris Benhoff
Division Business Coach (Baltimore, MD)
Chris Benhoff began his career as a cook and manager at Ruby Tuesday’s while studying at Purdue School of Business. After graduating cum laude in 2003, he joined his father’s business, where he introduced new strategies, including the use of social media.
Chris later became the owner of the business and continued developing his experience in operations, customer service, sales, and local marketing. With more than 18 years of industry experience, he now brings that firsthand business ownership background to his role as a Division Business Coach.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys golf, cooking, and playing bass guitar.
Bill Moeller
Division Business Coach (Blue Springs, MO)
Bill Moeller began his sales career at age 19 selling Kirby vacuums door to door. Over the following 25 years, he built experience working with both Fortune 500 companies and smaller organizations. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology.
In 2017, Bill opened a BoxDrop location, gaining firsthand experience operating a local mattress and furniture business. He joined the BoxDrop coaching team in 2020 and brings experience in sales, customer relationships, local operations, mattresses, furniture, and franchise ownership to his coaching role.
Bill’s approach is centered on initiative, consistency, and helping owners strengthen the way they operate their businesses.
Tim Buster
Division Business Coach (Eugene, OR)
Tim Buster is a seasoned entrepreneur with experience building and operating businesses across several industries. His background includes owning a donut shop, managing large teams, milk delivery, courier services, furniture delivery, and trucking.
Tim’s interest in business eventually led him to the BoxDrop mattress and furniture clearance-center model. He has experience operating multiple locations and brings that firsthand ownership perspective to his role as a Division Business Coach.
As a coach, Tim enjoys helping franchise owners identify their strengths, develop their operating skills, and continue improving their local businesses.
Heather Bradley
Division Business Coach (Cromwell, IN)
Heather Bradley was raised in Indiana, where she learned the importance of hard work, respect, and treating people equally regardless of their circumstances. A story she often heard growing up about her grandfather helping someone who had fallen on hard times helped shape her approach to both life and business.
Heather has a professional background in customer service and human resources. After getting married in 2012, she and her family later opened a BoxDrop location in 2016, giving her firsthand experience as a local business owner.
Today, Heather brings her customer-service background, ownership experience, and people-first approach to her role as a Division Business Coach.
Josh Haynes
Division Business Coach (Bridgeport, WV)
Josh Haynes grew up in a business-oriented family, helping with family ventures that included vending machines and income-tax services. Those early experiences sparked an interest in accounting, management, and business.
After earning a degree in Business Management and Accounting, Josh worked in a variety of roles supporting small businesses before joining BoxDrop in 2014. He has since gained experience operating multiple BoxDrop locations in West Virginia and working alongside family members and other entrepreneurs within the system.
Josh has also collaborated with Bob Wert and Kelly Harris on the development of BoxDrop’s upholstery business. As a Division Business Coach, he brings his background in accounting, management, operations, and ownership to the franchise owners he supports.
Kirk Housewright
Division Business Coach (The Colony, TX)
Kirk Housewright has an extensive background in finance, sales, logistics, and business ownership. He and his wife, Heather, opened their first BoxDrop location in 2016 and have experience operating multiple locations.
Before BoxDrop, Kirk developed extensive experience in logistics management, including overseeing significant contracts and border-crossing operations. He and Heather have also been entrepreneurs in the transportation brokerage industry and own a small bowling alley.
Kirk holds a degree in Business Management and brings his professional, operating, and ownership experience to his role as a Division Business Coach.
Outside of work, he enjoys coaching basketball, bass fishing, staying active, and spending time outdoors with his family.
Phyllis Rouse
Division Business Coach (Fernandina Beach, FL)
Phyllis Rouse grew up in the Midwest and moved frequently because of her father’s career, an experience that helped develop her love of meeting and connecting with new people.
She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education and later a Master’s degree, building a career centered on teaching and coaching. As retirement approached, Phyllis and her husband, David, decided to pursue business ownership and opened a BoxDrop location.
Today, Phyllis combines her background in education, coaching, and BoxDrop ownership in her role as a Division Business Coach. She also contributes to BoxDrop University and supports franchise owners as they learn and develop within the system.
Sean Stephan
Division Business Coach (Millbury, MA)
Sean Stephan earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and built his early career in the health and fitness industry. During that time, he gained experience in retail operations, client development, sales, management, coaching, and team leadership.
As his career developed, Sean took on increasing leadership responsibilities and became focused on entrepreneurship, coaching, and building strong teams. He later joined RSS/BoxDrop as a Division Business Coach.
Today, Sean uses his background in leadership, mentoring, customer relationships, and team development to support BoxDrop franchise owners throughout his division.
Theron Wilson
Division Business Coach (Grove City, OH)
Theron Wilson excelled in baseball during college and graduated with honors. He later worked in Washington, D.C., first at a think tank and then as a Senior Legislative Assistant for a member of Congress.
Theron eventually shifted his focus toward entrepreneurship and family, establishing and operating businesses in the furniture industry. He and his wife later relocated to rural Ohio to be closer to their extended family.
Theron joined RSS in a leadership role and also opened an RSS corporate location in Columbus. Today, he brings experience in business ownership, operations, leadership, and public policy to his work with the organization.
Outside of work, Theron values spending time with his family and being part of a larger team of business owners and professionals.
Jonathan Walter
Division Business Coach (Spokane, WA)
Jonathan Walter brings nearly three decades of experience in sales, management, and training from the automotive retail industry to his role as a Division Business Coach.
After moving from Southern California to Colorado and later to Spokane, Washington, Jonathan and his wife began a new business venture with BoxDrop. They later expanded their operation by adding a second location in Post Falls, Idaho.
Jonathan enjoys mentoring others and uses his extensive experience in sales, management, training, and business ownership to help fellow entrepreneurs strengthen their skills and local operations.
Kyle Sherratt
Recruiting Coach
Kyle Sherratt brings more than 25 years of experience in the home furnishings industry. He began his career as a store manager for Off Track Bedding before becoming the company’s district manager, gaining experience overseeing multiple retail locations.
Kyle later joined Ashley Furniture as Sales Manager for the HomeStore in Warwick, Rhode Island. Drawing on that experience, he opened his own specialty bedding store and later served as Vice President of Operations for a multi-location bedding retailer.
Kyle joined RSS to help develop BoxDrop franchise operations in Rhode Island. Today, he brings his extensive knowledge of retail operations, bedding, franchise development, and the BoxDrop model to his role as a Recruiting Coach.
Amy Bowen
Controller
Amy Bowen has been with BoxDrop since its inception in 2013. Since joining the company, her responsibilities have steadily expanded as the organization has developed.
As Controller, Amy leads members of the accounting team and oversees the management of company financials and accounting functions. Her responsibilities include auditing financial statements, managing monthly reporting, tax-related processes, and supporting the financial operations of the organization.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time in her flower garden and being outdoors with her husband, John, and their sons, Tyler and Jacob.
Nick Atkinson
Director of Customer Care & Claims
Nick Atkinson joined the BoxDrop team in 2019 in a Dealer Support role. Since then, he has taken on increasing responsibilities across customer care, claims, vendor relationships, and dealer support.
Today, Nick serves as Director of Customer Care & Claims and leads team members across the Claims and Dealer Support functions. He also serves as a vendor liaison and assists with escalated customer-care situations.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching sports, and playing video games.
